On behalf of Kent Association for the Blind, I want to say a massive thank you to all the teams of the Romney Marsh Pool league, and to the landlords, landladies and publicans who continue to raise vital
funds for KAB's work across the county. I'd also like to thank League Secretary, Peter Brooke, Chairman, Rob Mitchell and Treasurer, Dean Sharpe for their hard work each season to make sure the league runs smoothly. Over the last 27 years since the League began in 1983, the League has raised an outstanding £87,830.36. Amongst other things, that money helps pay for mobility equipment to help blind and partially sighted people get around. It also helps pay for rehabilitation sessions so that people who have
recently lost their sight can start to learn the skills they need to gain be independent. What the Romney Marsh Pool League achieves year after year is just fantastic. Without your generosity and the support of the other darts and pool leagues around the county it would be really difficult for us to continue to meet all the needs of the 15,500 people in Kent who depend on KAB services. Thank you.
