By Road
Greatstone village is on the south east Kent coast between Folkestone and Rye, about one mile from the cinque port of New Romney on the Romney Marsh.
From the M20, at J10 Ashford, turn off onto the A2070. (right from London, left from Dover & Folkestone). Follow this road for about 1 mile and then turn off right, signposted Hamstreet and still the A2070.
Then follow the A2070 over the Marsh for about 8 miles until you come to the roundabout at Brenzett. Here, take the left turn onto the A259, through Old Romney to New Romney.
Go through New Romney High Street until you come to the traffic lights at its north end. Here turn right and follow the road until you get the sea at a T junction. Turn right, through Littlestone and Greatstone is about 1 mile to the south from the T junction.
By Rail
Get to Ashford International Rail Station. There you have two options to get to Greatstone.
From just outside the station, either take:
i) a taxi, or
ii) a bus. This is an hourly service
